How do I file a warranty claim on a lithium battery?
You won't need to ship the battery back to us. All we require is the date code engraved on the battery and a testing ticket showing the battery is defective. That's it. We designed the process to get you back on the water fast, not buried in paperwork.
Do Banshee batteries arrive ready to install?
Yes. Every Banshee battery ships pre-charged and installation-ready. There's no acid filling, no activation steps, and no waiting around. They're sealed, maintenance-free units you can mount in virtually any position without worrying about leaks.
What makes Banshee AGM batteries tougher than standard batteries?
Our AGM batteries use heavy-duty lead calcium-alloy grids with 20% more lead in the plates compared to standard batteries. That extra lead translates to extended life and vibration-proof performance, exactly what you need on rough trails or choppy water. They also recombine over 90% of gases generated during normal use through a low-pressure venting system, making them among the safest sealed lead-acid batteries available.
Why should I consider a Banshee LiFePO4 lithium battery over AGM?
LiFePO4 batteries are roughly 50 to 60% lighter than comparable AGM batteries. For example, our lithium Group 31 marine battery delivers 1,200 CCA at just 24.2 lbs, while a comparable lead-acid Group 31 can weigh nearly 60 lbs. Lithium also delivers roughly 10 times the cycle life (3,000 to 7,000 cycles vs. 300 to 700 for AGM), charges more efficiently at about 95% round-trip efficiency, and can be safely discharged to 80 to 100% of capacity.
